Ms. Olsen is a partner at Abramson Church & Stave LLP, where she represents a broad spectrum of business owners from both the private and public sectors. Specializing in management in state and federal litigation, Ms. Olsen has represented employers on charges filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Fair Employment & Housing, the US Department of Labor, the California Department of Industrial Relations, the National Labor Relations Board, the Agricultural Labor Relations Board, and the California and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Olsen negotiates collective bargaining agreements for her clients and represents those clients in arbitrations. Ms. Olsen also provides counseling to her clients designed to prevent or minimize disputes between employers and employees. Ms. Olsen graduated with honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1977 and received her J.D. from the University of California at Davis in 1981. She is a member of the State Bar of California.
Anne C. Leach

Ms. Leach, a partner with Abramson Church & Stave LLP, has 14 years of experience working with family-owned businesses in the agricultural and other sectors. Her practice focuses on succession planning, real estate sales and leases, estate planning, probate and trust administration. A graduate of Salinas High School, Ms. Leach received her B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1990 and her J.D. from the Santa Clara University School of Law in 1993. Ms. Leach began her career at Abramson Church & Stave in 1993 and become a partner in the firm in 1997. She was named managing partner in 2004.
Ms. Leach is a fifth-generation Californian whose father’s family immigrated to Monterey County in the 1850s, to pursue cattle ranching. Subsequent generations engaged in pharmacy, dentistry, law and public service. Her mother’s family immigrated to San Benito County in the 1860s and has been primarily engaged in farming in San Benito County and Southern Monterey County. Continuing her family’s tradition of community service, Ms. Leach has served on the boards of the following community organizations: Salinas Rotary (President), Sun Street Centers (President), SPCA of Monterey County (President), Hawley Central California AFS Endowment Fund (President), Bruce Church Educational Foundation (President), Sally Hughes Church Foundation (President), National Steinbeck Center (President) and Public Recreation Unlimited (Secretary). She is also a member of the State Bar of California, Monterey County Bar Association, Monterey County Women Lawyers, California Women for Agriculture, and the Chamber of Commerce, and is a graduate of Leadership Salinas Valley. The Salinas Jaycees named Ms. Leach its Outstanding Young Citizen in 1996.
Matthew W. Ottone

Matthew Ottone, a partner with Abramson Church & Stave LLP, was born and raised in Salinas, California and received his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law. Mr. Ottone specializes in estate planning, real estate, and business law. He has extensive experience in counseling multi-generational family businesses for the purposes of succession planning, handling large-scale commercial real estate developments and transactions, and advising small businesses in entity formations and general corporation matters.
Mr. Ottone currently serves on the City of Salinas Measure V Oversight Committee and represents District 4 on the Monterey County Planning Commission. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce, Salinas Planning and Research Corporation and Palma High School. He was selected as the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year for 2006. He is also a member of the State Bar of California and the Rotary Club of Salinas.
Gary R. Ray

Gary Ray, a partner with Abramson Church & Stave LLP, has more than 15 years’ experience working with hospitals, medical groups and ancillary healthcare facilities and providers. Mr. Ray holds a J.D. from Hastings College of the Law, an M.B.A. with honors in finance from The Anderson School at UCLA, and a B.A. with honors in Economics from the University of California, Irvine. He also studied comparative political systems at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, England.
Mr. Ray specializes in healthcare law and public entity representation and has experience in Brown Act compliance, public entity contracting, performance and payment bonds and public financing compliance issues. He represents several California healthcare districts and medical groups, as well as independent physicians and other healthcare providers. Mr. Ray also represents clients in the areas of corporate organization, partnerships, limited liability companies, general business transactions, real estate and intellectual property.
Mr. Ray is a member of the State Bar of California, the Monterey County Bar Association and the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Salinas Valley program and serves on the board of directors of the Oldtown Salinas Association and on the Monterey Peninsula College Bond Oversight Board.
Rafael Vazquez

Rafael Vazquez, an associate with Abramson Church & Stave LLP, devotes his practice to the representation of employers throughout the tri-county area in all aspects of the labor and employment process, including litigation. Mr. Vazquez was previously a Deputy District Attorney for the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office, where he gained significant litigation experience prosecuting defendants in criminal cases ranging from basic misdemeanor offenses to felonies, including special circumstances murder. Mr. Vazquez’s litigation background is further bolstered by his experience serving as a judicial extern at the United States District Court in San Francisco, and as a member of the law and motion unit at an Oakland law firm that is nationally recognized as one of the premier firms specializing in asbestos litigation.
Mr. Vazquez holds a J.D. degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law, in addition to M.S. and B.S. degrees in Criminal Justice from San Jose State University. He is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and the Monterey County Bar Association. Mr. Vazquez speaks fluent Spanish.

Gary Haase, an associate with Abramson Church & Stave LLP, specializes in healthcare law, public entity representation and business transactions. He has experience advising hospital management and healthcare practitioners in areas such as hospital governance and general operations; consent and reporting requirements; professional medical corporations; and physician self-referral and anti-kickback laws. Mr. Haase also represents agricultural companies and nonprofit corporations in the areas of business entity formation, housekeeping and dissolution, business transactions, and real property transactions.
In addition, Mr. Haase’s experience includes working with a biotechnology company based in South San Francisco; a Tokyo-based advertising, marketing and broadcasting corporation; federal government agencies in the United States and Japan; and California public school districts.
Mr. Haase holds a J.D. from the Santa Clara University School of Law and a B.A. in English from UCLA. He is admitted to practice law in California and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. His memberships include the Monterey County Bar Association, the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys, the State Bar of California (Business Law and Public Law Sections), and the American Bar Association (Health Law Section). Danielle Gleason Tarricone, an associate with Abramson Church & Stave LLP, specializes in healthcare law, public entity representation and business transactions. Additionally, Ms. Tarricone is a Registered Nurse and worked in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for five years in New York City. She maintains a current nursing license in California.

George McInnis, Of Counsel, has 38 years of experience practicing law in California. Mr. McInnis has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience in a variety of disciplines. He has specialized in Civil Litigation, Labor Arbitration, Administrative Law, Agricultural Law, Arbitration, Personal Injury and Family Law.
Mr. McInnis, a Partner from 1972 through 2002, continues to be an invaluable resource to Abramson Church and Stave LLP. Prior to his career with Abramson Church and Stave, Mr. McInnis was a Partner and Associate with Pioda, Leach, Stave, Bryan & Ames LLP, practicing in the areas of Personal Injury, Family Law, Workers’ Compensation and Criminal Defense. He was a Felony Trial Deputy with the Alameda and Monterey County District Attorney’s offices from 1960-1966. He has served as the President of the Monterey County Bar Association and was a past recipient of the Monterey County Bar Association’s Gibson Award. He has also earned an A rating in the California Martindale-Hubble Law Directory. Mr. McInnis is a graduate of the University of California-Berkeley and holds a JD from Boalt Hall, University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. McInnis has devoted numerous hours to the Salinas Valley Community. He is the Past President of Meals on Wheels and the Palma High School, Board of Directors.
